Someone was kind enough to post a plugin for SageTV which allows you to display CallerID information and custom messages while using the SageTV client/extenders. I decided to give this a try, and I am very happy with the results.

Can you control the location of the popup? Also, can you set it so popups just timeout after a certain period? It would be nice if some HA popups were in the corner and lasted 1 maybe 2 seconds.

Mine times out, which can be configured. Not sure about the location, you might have to post about that in the SageTV forum thread.

Looks like location is configurable as well. I made a request in the forum to add messages classes. Would be great for HA if that is possible. Request is here: Request
