I have two computer at my business. I have spent endless weeks trying to figure out how to connect Computer A (main computer with Diginet Site software) with Diginet Center with Computer B (laptop) at my business.
I can finally connect to Diginet Center at work, only to find out that I can only connect to Diginet Center at work because it's in the LAN as Diginet Site. I am trying to connect Diginet Center from home, but it says "Warning, Connection Failed." Is there a way I can connect, WAN, so I can also watch the Diginet from my home?
I have a static IP from AT&T and I have done the port forwarding on my modem/router (Netopia) and it still does not work. Any suggestions?
Any help would be appeciated.
BTW I have no idea if I did the port forwarding correctly. Could it be the reason why it would not let me connect?
I am very new to port fowarding, static ips and hooking up security camera software.
