So I have 6GB of RAM sitting in the server now, and have verified that everything else works with 64-bit XP or 64-Bit Vista. I know that there have been issues with Vista, but has anyone tried Premise with XP-64?
I now have the system running XP-32 with a Virual Machine (VMWare) with Linux and Zimbra mail server, as well as Premise and SageTV running natively. It's running quite well with the 3GB it sees, but does sometimes hit the memory wall and slow way down.
I could setup another VM with XP for Premise only, but that seems a bit of a waste. Plus I don't know if I can expose everything with VMWare. Should, but, you never know.
