Shoot, free shipping over. Thought it was a Memorial Day sale, and not a 'celebration' sale.

"Missed it by that much..."

...I also saw Get Smart this weekend. ;)

So, are most of the outdoor speakers that you sell really >$50K/each? or would that be a pricing error ;)

Its for a pair right :)

I think some prices got out of wack in the conversion to their new site. If you call I am sure they will give you a break on that price :P

Yeah, but to help pay for the Stimulus Plan there is a new tax on "unfairly gained discount income". So you'll get to pay tax on the full $50k, even if you are getting it for 99.99% off the listed price... :)

Ah, but fortunately there's a tax credit as part of the '03 tax cuts, so I can get all the $$ back at EOY. And, since it's a tax credit I can even get the gov't to write me a check if my deductions surpass income :)

Martin, buddy, i'm beginning to think those prices are legit. I sent you an email about the right price but haven't heard back. I'll try and pick up the phone, i need to put the order in within 48 hours as I need a dual voice coil external speaker by next Friday. Can't afford $50K though...

You should just put it in your cart, and buy it. See if Martin notices.

I am sure IVB's credit card company will. Or his wife when she opens up the credit card bill if it goes through by accident

I just need an inexpensive but decent outdoor dual voice coil speaker that has a bracket to be wall mountable. Hoping to keep it to ~$100, so that's likely one of the cheapest ones they got.

The EM-IO50DC is the least expensive that AO seems to sell (I think they sell Nuvo and Russound also but they dont show up in that category on their website). My price information for the EM-IO50DC puts it over $100 (closer to $120 plus shipping if I was to sell it at minimal markup). Not sure what AO would sell it for. The 6.5 inch would be closer to $150 each plus shipping.

Proficient Audio Speakers would be about equal in price.

IVB,

As I explained to you last week, Emphasys doesn't allow us to post the proper pricing on an open website. If you log on to your ID, you will see the proper price. If anyone else out there logs on and doesn't see the right price, please PM me and I'll make sure that you have Bonus Club status. All Cocoontech members should make sure they have Bonus Club status for the maximum discounts!

thanks,

Martin

I must not have enough clout, as I was logged in, and still see $50K for the speakers.

Its probably an oversight from the conversion to the new system. I would PM Martin and I am sure he will take care of it right away by verifying your account has the bonus club status. I have the same problem where I cant sell certain products on my site since I cant set up a restriction of who can and cant see the item. AO has better site software apparently to overcome that problem.

All in all AO has the best selection overall etc.
