Iím trying to build a rain gauge heater. The rain gauge is on a 1-wire network and I would like the heater to be controlled by the 1-wire network.
I would like to use a DS2413 (1-Wire Dual Channel Addressable Switch) to control a solid state switch to turn on the heater. The heater would consist of 3 wire-wound resistors at 10 ohms 10 watt (for a total of 30 watts) connected to 24v ac transformer; the switch would be between the transformer and the resistors. I know very little about electrons. I guess the first thing I need to know is what solid state relay would work with the DS2413 and would be suitable for the voltage and current need to support the resistors and transformer circuit.

It seems so simple but I have no clue where to start.
