I have a variation with voice and visual alerts inside the garage.

299.	WHEN Close Garage
THEN Garage Close Timer ON FOR 30 SECONDS
300.	WHEN Close Garage
AND IF Garage Door Status Counter ON
AND IF Garage Motion Counter OFF
THEN SAY CLOSE GARAGE DOOR IN THIRTY SECONDS
THEN Garage Bay 1&2 Lights ON FOR 2 SECONDS
THEN Garage Bay 3 Lights ON FOR 2 SECONDS
THEN Garage Voice Timer ON FOR 15 SECONDS
301.	WHEN Garage Voice Timer OFF
AND IF Garage Door Status Counter ON
AND IF Garage Motion Counter OFF
THEN SAY CLOSE GARAGE DOOR IN FIFTEEN SECONDS
THEN Garage Bay 1&2 Lights ON FOR 2 SECONDS
THEN Garage Bay 3 Lights ON FOR 2 SECONDS
302.	WHEN Garage Close Timer OFF
AND IF Garage Door Bay 1&2 NOT READY
AND IF Garage Motion Counter OFF
THEN SAY WARNING (Pause) CLOSE GARAGE DOOR NOW
THEN SAY WARNING (Pause) CLOSE GARAGE DOOR NOW
			THEN Garage Lights ON
THEN Garage Door Bay 1&2 ON FOR 2 SECONDS
THEN Garage Close Timer ON FOR 1 MINUTE
303.	WHEN Garage Close Timer OFF
AND IF Garage Door Bay 3 NOT READY
AND IF Garage Motion Counter OFF
THEN SAY WARNING (Pause) CLOSE GARAGE DOOR NOW
THEN SAY WARNING (Pause) CLOSE GARAGE DOOR NOW
			THEN Garage Lights ON
THEN Garage Door Bay 3 ON FOR 2 SECONDS
THEN Garage Close Timer ON FOR 1 MINUTE
304.	WHEN Garage Close Timer OFF
AND IF Garage Door Status Counter OFF
			THEN Garage Lights OFF

Here's mine. It just warns via a console message and beep.

61.	WHEN Garage Doors Close
THEN RUN Garage door west close
THEN RUN Garage door east close
THEN Garage door timer ON FOR 18 SECONDS
62.	WHEN Garage door west close
AND IF Garage door west side NOT READY
THEN Garage door opener west side ON FOR 3 SECONDS
63.	WHEN Garage door east close
AND IF Garage door east NOT READY
THEN Garage door opener east side ON FOR 3 SECONDS
64.	WHEN Garage door timer OFF
AND IF Garage door west side NOT READY
		OR
AND IF Garage door east side NOT READY
THEN SHOW Garage door blocked WITH BEEP
			THEN LOG Garage door blocked

68.	WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag ON

69.	WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag ON

Is the "Left/Right/Both Garage Doors Link" a button or outputs? Not following how you just turn them on, but never turn them off. Also, is "Close Both Garage Doors" a button as well?

Trying to understand the logic behind having 2 buttons that both essentially close both garage doors.

Also, ever afraid of a situation where you get into an endless loop - door being blocked, etc.

I don't own an HAI panel yet, so forgive me if I ask a stupid question.

I don't understand the purpose of these two WHEN statements together:
WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag ON
WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag OFF

It seems the condition will evaluate to true when Garage Door Close is true and effectively have nothing to do with Recheck Flag.

Couldn't this be done more easily with a single line
WHEN Garage Door Close

I don't understand the purpose of these two WHEN statements together:
WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag ON
WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag OFF

Those nested WHEN triggers execute the code underneath them whenever EITHER codition is true.
It only triggers when there is a CHANGE of state. If the flag never changes, nothing happens.

It seems the condition will evaluate to true when Garage Door Close is true and effectively have nothing to do with Recheck Flag.

Couldn't this be done more easily with a single line
WHEN Garage Door Close

It is a failsafe. or a recheck. The close garage door signal is sent, then 30 seconds later it is rechecked, and if the door is still open, it resends the close signal. It's a way to ensure the door closes.

The Button "Close Both Garage Doors" turns on the flag "Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag" and sets it as a 30 second countdown timer.
So the code executes immidiately when the flag initially turns ON and again 30 seconds later when the flag turns OFF. Think of it like this:

66. WHEN Close Both Garage Doors
THEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag ON FOR 30 SECONDS
67. WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag ON
AND IF Garage Left Overhead Door NOT READY
AND IF Garage Right Overhead Door SECURE
THEN Left Garage Door Link ON
68. WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag ON
AND IF Garage Left Overhead Door SECURE
AND IF Garage Right Overhead Door NOT READY
THEN Right Garage Door Link ON
69. WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag ON
AND IF Garage Left Overhead Door NOT READY
AND IF Garage Right Overhead Door NOT READY
THEN Both Garage Doors Link ON
70. WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag OFF
AND IF Garage Left Overhead Door NOT READY
AND IF Garage Right Overhead Door SECURE
THEN Left Garage Door Link ON
71. WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag OFF
AND IF Garage Left Overhead Door SECURE
AND IF Garage Right Overhead Door NOT READY
THEN Right Garage Door Link ON
72. WHEN Garage Door Close & Recheck Flag OFF
AND IF Garage Left Overhead Door NOT READY
AND IF Garage Right Overhead Door NOT READY
THEN Both Garage Doors Link ON
