Haiku Rain Advisory Flag

Hi folks

Very new to this so please forgive me if I'm missing something obvious. I would like to use the Rain Advisory function but when I connect to the Controller the last entry in the log gives me 'Rain Advisory synchronisation enabled but no "Rain Advisory" flag found!'.

I can see from the entries above this that there forecasts for my area (Adelaide SA) and the Rain Advisory flag is set to 3.

I've an OmniPro II controller using firmware 3.10A.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply. I've set a Flag with Unit Name and Description set to 'RainAdvisory' but still no joy. Interestingly I earlier gave the Flag the description RAIN AD FLAG (description RainAdvisory) when I was trying to figure this out. This is the flag name I'm seeing in HAIKU (on my iPad) and via the web interface on the mac. PC access shows the correct (new) name and description.

After changing the flag name, go to the About tab in Haiku and hit the top right button and select Clear Cache.

Tried this but no joy. I've deleted the controller, reset the iPad and set up the controller again but still see the old flag entry

Likely then the flag name was not written to the controller. No need to delete the controller. Clear Cache will work.

Launch PC Access and ensure you set the flag's name (*not* description) to RainAdvisory and then ensure you write the Names to the controller.

Steps taken so far: Created 2 new Flags with the names, RainAdvisory and IRR FLAG. These have been written to the controller. When I look at the Status Control tab > Flags when connected to the controller I can see these two flags. However on the iPad using HAIKU and my Mac (HAIKU Helper) when I look at the Flags I only see the RAIN AD FLAG which I wrote and subsequently renamed 3 days ago. I can not see the IRR FLAG. I've tried resetting the cache and removing and re-adding the controller.
Cheers

Are you sure you are writing the configuration to the controller in PC Access? The Status tab in PC Access will show names even if they haven't yet been written to the cobtroller, but nothing else will be able to see them. Also are you setting the short name and definitely not the long description for the flag?

Tried again and rather than just writing the setup to the controller I wrote everything. Then ran HAIKU, cleared the cache, and there they were, the Flags I have written. Checked the log on HAIKU Helper and all seems OK.Thanks heaps, much appreciated
