Hi,
I am having problems with controlling X10 modules. I have two X-10 dimmer switches. One turns on and off no problem, but doesnt dim the lights. The other can remotely turn on the light but does not turn off. I tried automation as well to turn off the light after a set time and that didn't work either.
any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Are the X10 switches new enough to have Soft Start where they ramp On and Off and may also have resume dim where they remember their dim level?

yes they are new and they do remember the dim state. I cannot adjust the dim level remotely though.
