Navigator Function Keys

I purchased an M1G and all the bells and whistles to go along with it.. Its been half installed for a while now, but not time is of the essence for me to get it finalized and functioning properly.
Among the many problems I am having, one of them is that the F keys wont display their title on the navigator. They just say "Sync Required", however, I cannot get that to change.
Could someone point me in the right direction to fix this discrepancy? I have two navigators, both go through a DBH. I am not sure what other information you would need to help me, but I will provide whatever I can.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hmmm, do they show up as "enrolled" in Elk RP software? Also, does each one have a unique address?
Yes, both are enrolled, both showing up in RP. Both have different addresses as well, one is Address 1, the other is Address 2.
On the navigator I go to: Menu, nex page, syncronize, and then click start, and nothing happens. It just sits there.
Thanks!

I would think your terminations are correct considering it enrolled, but you may want to check that as well. It has been a while since I set mine up.

The only other thing I can think of is to make sure all of your firmware is current (M1 and Navigator).

I updated the firmware for both the NAV's and the M1G, to no avail. Still unable to syncronize. When I press start it just stays there... Nothing happens.
Thanks!

I don't know what the proper address syntax is. Is that space OK, between Address and 1? Maybe address1 instead?

Newest version of ElkRP?

Newest version of RP as well.
I am not sure what/where you are referring to the proper address syntax. Could you explain a bit more?
Thanks!

You can do this by disconnecting your DBH from the Elk and move the navigator to the panel and directly connect to the Elk M1's data output terminals. Again, make sure the data terminators are properly set.
If this is a major pain, you might want to wait for a reply from others for alternate ideas.
