Hi All,
been lurking for a few weeks but this is my first post.
I am doing a self install of my Elk M1G and wondering what definition you all select for glassbreak detector's. I have had it set to burglar interior but today realized that would bypass it for stay and night modes which is not what I want.
Thank you,
Elk M1 recomended glassbreak definition

Typically either Burglar Perimiter Instant or in some cases Burglar 24 Hour. The first it'll be active whenever the alarm is armed; the second it'll be active 24/7 (not usually recommended).

Wouldn't recommend 24 hr, non-controllable for any system, barring a very high risk installation. Burg zones should always be able to be controlled by the system. Burg perimeter or perimeter delay should be 2 valid choices.

I wouldn't want a delay on a glassbreak.

Delay or instant is one thing, a burglar alarm zone not being able to be controlled by the panel based on armed/disarmed is another item altogether.

I thought I covered that with this statement:
That pretty much says it's not one you'd normally choose unless you've got a specific situation that warrants it.
