All,

I just purchased 2 Foscam cameras and can't seem to get them to work within HAIKU. the URLs I have tried:

I want to use the PTV functionality within HAIKU. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You need to know the IP addresses and ports of the cameras and enter them as http://x.x.x.x:port into the Address field. Then enter the user/password. Next, from the PTZ selector choose Foscam. That should get you connected.

I have setup the HAIKU camera with the information above but I get a message
"401 Unauthorized
Please verify that the user and password are correct."
I have chacked and all of them are correct

Camera is a Foscam FI8910W.
I have a HAIKU connected to the Omnipro II

Can you please support me?

Your user/password for viewing the camera must be incorrect. Try setting your password to something simple and test with that.

I am having the same issue/error with the same camera (FI8910W) connected to my OPII as well. I can access the camera just fine through multiple web browsers from inside and ouside my home, through the factory HAI android app, through IP Cam Viewer (android & iOS) but I cannot access it through Haiku on iOS.

I have setup additional accounts/logins for the camera in order to eliminate it being a username/password error. It comes down to Haiku isn't handling the connection to the camera properly.

Are you connecting to it from the LAN? Not via WAN? Because that IP will of course only work from the LAN. Also is the port changed to 81 for some specific reason?

Not positive I know what you're referring to by "PTZ setting" but I think you mean the "Mode" field when adding a camera to Haiku. That being the case I have tried both "Foscam" and "Basic (PTZ Disabled)".

Hello,
Like you I can view my camera from various bowsers and HAI Snap-Link but I cannot see the Foscam FI8910W on the Haiku App.  I can change presets but no image.  Did you manage to resolve your issue?  I will appreciate any input,.  Thanks.

No, I haven't found a solution, Im still convinced it's an issue with Haiku. I havent tried finding out how to submit a bug-fix request to Haiku, guess i need to. In the mean time ive been using IP cam viewer to view the 1 foscam i have, every other camera I have works well in haiku.

If someone can PM me remote access details for this camera I can do some tests from here to see what is wrong.

I really wish I had stumbled across this forum earlier.  I just got one of these cameras up and running and I am having the same exact issue.  Please tell me that this issue has been resolved or the settings are known.
