Odd display of topics (IVB)

So, I've noticed over the past few weeks that I see these weird boxes around certain threads that have just been posted to. I've attached a screen shot, which shows a box around the thread title. Oddly, I seem to ONLY see this on threads that IVB has just posted to. Just curious if this Is this a forum feature or a glitch of some sort?

I'm betting if he updates his photo (via his profile), that will disappear (is it linked to a busted URL?).

There definitely was an issue with IVB's avatar, but the screenshot you posted seems to indicate a glitch.  If you notice this again, please let me know, I don't like bugs

I had been seeing it on all new posts that he made... I haven't seen the issue since the avatar was changed.
