Any Omnitouch Pro software on custom touchscreen users out there?

Decided today to purchase the HAI Omnitouch Pro software as I am moving towards all 16:9 capacitance touchscreens here.

Any users of the software out there?

Please correct me if I'm wrong,
I believe it is an app that runs on the device and implements an Automation Studio layout.
So most of the design techniques should be the same.
You'll still need AS.

With a more modern interface you should have faster response than the 5.7e and better web performance with a full browser.
You'll probably be able to implement a more robust user interface with reduced latencies.

I've considered this option as well and would be interested in yoursor others experiences.
The OmniTouch 7 coming out soon may make the decision a bit more difficult.

I think the software that is sold will run in a basic mode with similiar screens to the current Omnitouch 5.7e's without using AS.

Thinking of AS as my next near term purchase.

Got the Omniprotouch software today.  Basically its just a little card with the serial number on it.  You download the application, install it and register it.

It is not the same as the Omnitouch 5.7e's.  It does not download the camera information from the panel like the Omnitouch 5.7e.  Other than that it looks the same.  The settings on it though does throw up a Microsoft error box when I press one of the cameras.

The configuration screen looks identical to the Omnitouch 5.7e except that the cameras do not work.

Looks like I will need the design software.

Resurrecting this post to see if there are any users out there & what their feedback is. I'm hoping the software has better reviews that the 5.7e touchscreens has had in the past couple of years post-Leviton acquisition.

Here I utilize both the Omnitouch 5.7e's and Omnitouch Pro software on tabletop touchscreens.   I do not utilize the designer here.

The table tops are 800X480 capacitance screens running XPe and they run the software just fine.
