M1 KP-2 Not Booting

I have recently replaced a M1 panel with another M1 panel. After swapping the two panels over the KP-2 keypad displays "Keypad Bootloader". The keypad can be enrolled, F3 on boot works (brings up menu) but the keypad will not function normally.
 
I was wondering if there are any solutions to this.

Could it be a version issue?  Are you running the same code version on your new panel you were on your old?   It might need a code update...

A firmware download might be in order. What versions are listed in Elk RP for all of your devices. you should see a boot version and a firmware version.
