Premise Lutron Homeworks 8 Illumination P5 connection to Premise via IP

Hey folks,
 
I have a Lutron Homeworks 8 system (P5 processor) that I have connected to my network.  Does anyone know if it possible to connect Premise to the Lutron system via TCP/IP?  I see UI to connect via a serial port (RS232), but unfortunately don't have that conveniently wired near my server.
 
If that is note possible I could figure out how to run a serial connection.  Before I do, does anyone know if I'll have any issues as the system has a P5 Homeworks Illumination processor, which is a generation newer than the Homeworks Interactive system?
