Haiku Accessing HaikuHelper wo/password

I have a web server running on my Mac Mini that also hosts HaikuHelper.  I want to be able to call the HaikuHelper web page from a page on my web server. It works fine, except I'm required to enter the HaiKuHelper login and password. Is there anyway to pass this login and password to HaikuHelper in a link to bypass this added password?  My web page has its own security to access it, so entering a second password can be annoying.  Or maybe there is another way to access the HaikuHelper screen from this same machine to get around the password? 

you can try http://userassword@host:9399/ but that unfortunately doesn't work in most browsers nowadays.

That actually seems to work good with Chrome and Firefox as long as I substitute the blanks in my username with %20. Internet Explorer doesn't like it, but I can live with that. With Safari you get a phishing warning.
