Obtaining firmware update?

Starting a new project, and I'd like to start with the latest firmware -- alas, I can find no download either on CAI's website nor here.  I tried opening a support case but didn't hear from CAI.  So, what's the secret?  Where do we go to download the latest?

When and where did you try to open a support case?  This forum is not affiliated with CAI.  If you want to open a support case, please go to CAI Networks web site under support tab to fill the support form.
 
To obtain firmware for updating board, we will need to know your MAC address, when did you purchased the board, as well as the current firmware version.  You can send that information to our support through email or our web site.  Thanks.
 
As I said in the original post, I opened a support case asking how to get the updated firmware.  I tried the CAI support email because I know that this forum is not affiliated with CAI.  But since I got no response from CAI from my support request, I am now posting here.
 
I'm curious -- why do you need my MAC address?  Is each firmware unique to each board?
 
I'd be happy to send that information, but since I already did that once before, and got no response at all, what would be different that I'd get a response this time?  I'm not trying to be difficult - I'm just trying to understand how to get a very simple request handled, and it seems to be very difficult!  I can download firmware updates for every computer in my house, every cell phone I have, every other controller I'm using, all from the manufacturer's web site without needing a support case, or having proof-of-purchase, or even providing serial numbers or MAC addresses.  Why is CAI so different?
 
Can you please provide the email address?  Since it didn't work at all for me last time, perhaps I sent my request to the wrong address?

Sorry for you did not get response. Sometimes ISP filter caught emails causing not sending or not receiving.  Please send your email to [email protected]
Once we received information, we will response quickly.
 
Some products your purchased offered free lifetime firmware update.  We do not offer unlimited free support for lifetime.  There are many companies promised a lot of free services, but when you really need help, they may not do much for free download software.  We do have people seriously working on each customers request.  That would cost money.  We hope you understand.
 
mwester,   we checked and still have not received your email or web site support request.  Did you send us email or web support request?  
 
Good to know.  Please note this version 17g firmware requires to adjust TDSO from 15 to 3 in the general tab.  That is due to some 1-wire timing change in our logic.  Thanks.
 
ok because I was also searching for a download. The update files are mailed only but not downloadable?

We have posted download URL on this forum, but you posted in other thread cause that not showing on top.  We do not have copy and paste capability on this forum.  If you can please send us direct email to [email protected] with your board MAC address, we can email you that URL.
