wc32 and clock

Did you setup it with proper network? WebControl during running updates its clock with NTP servers on the Internet. If you don't have internet access, to maintain the accurate clock, you will need to add DS2417 real time clock chip on the 1-wire bus.
my clock is off by a time zone. my time zone is utc-5(3 wc8 boards are set -5)but have to set wc32 to utc-6 to get the correct time. Yes i do have internet access
email and time problem all happened on lasted update 4.02.04. 4.02.03 all worked except x10 but is now working not sure if it was update or
" Connect your X10 RF power pin not to TTL7 output, but to 5V power on the terminal 3 of temp sensor or humidity sensor. Somehow with X10 running TTL7 does not output 5V as it supposed to be."

Hi pittom,
In the previous firmware, there was only one email destination address. In the later firmware, we added to allow each EM configuration has its own email address. Please make sure each EM has its own destination email address set up.
We will test the timezone issue you reported. That part of code did not change in last couple version of firmware. Does your WC8 have daylight time saving logic in PLC? Also, do you see time drifting problem as reported by BTCAD?

I just tested with previous version firmware. The timezone ahead by a hour problem existed in previous version firmware. We will need to check out and fix that.
I also tested email configuration, it works fine for me. Please note that when update WC32 firmware, you also must update both wc32gui and wc32api, and the update must in the sequence of update wc32gui first, AFTER that, update wc32api. If that sequence is not followed, it will not work properly.
We will let you know what we find with timezone off by a hour problem.

Thanks for reporting the timezone problem. We have located that problem and fixed. That was an problem existing in all previous version wc32 firmware not handling DST time difference correctly. You are the first one reporting that problem. We prepared a download update image already. Any other wc32 customer can send us email directly asking for this update image.
