eKeypad Very Slow when using 2601 Secure Port

Hey all,
I been working with Jayson on tracking down why my M1G connected to a 10/100/1000 Cisco professional switch is very slow when using 2601 Secure port feature of the ELK.
Example:

If the ELK is setup to use port 2601 Secure port and I have it hardwired to a Linksys wireless router with nothing else on it except for the Wan from my provider.
My iPad or iPhone running eKeypad Pro (latest version) wirelessly connected to my Linksys router 5 feet away will take about 20 to 30 minutes to sync to the ELK.

If I do the same test, but this time use port 2101 Non-Secure port, it only takes about 10 seconds.

I haven done a packet capture yet, but I think I'm going to have to, but before I do, is anyone else seeing the same issues.
I need to run 2601 secure port as I want to access this outside on the net, so I need to get this problem addressed.

Note that it isn't just the sync that takes a long time.  I have about 12 UPB devices and about 10 hardwired and 30 wireless zones (so not a big system) and the slowness is causing eKeypad to not populate, or populate slowly the device status of some device.  Again, if I'm using port 2101 Non-Secure port, I don't have these issues.

PS, I'm network engineer by trade, so very familiar with IP, but I have been know to overlook a few things as I get older...lol

Thoughts are welcome.

I get connected in about in amount that amount of time, but have you tried to do a sync.  I would be interested in how long that takes when you use secure port.  Mine is take a bout 20 to 30 minutes.  I'm wondering if I have a bad or failing M1XEP.

Sync'ing does take a while - I haven't timed it. With previous versions (I don't recall the version number) it used to sync a lot faster, but without showing the progress circle.

What about testing with the elk m1 to go app? That way you can isolate ekeypad out of the equation
