Using Globalcache from a server

Hey all I am a big irule user and really like it however it can't fit an entire need. I would like to be able to control devices from my computer.  I would like to control my devices from my computer and also I would like to find some way that I can turn devices off when I arm my alarm (HAI Omnipro).  Any thoughts?

HaikuHelper will let you do the OmniPro triggers.  You can also write a web interface with it if you are savvy with that kind of stuff.

I realize I could do this with HH which I use but I don't know how to make the request to the global cache?  I know how to trigger an event with HH?
 
I don't know how the GC works really?
