Newbie Question

Afteroon all,
Was just wondering, what are the white wiring cabinets most of you guys use in your builds called please? I've tried searching for AV racks, but that's not giving any results. I'm in need of one to start my project.
 
Also, what ducting is used? I've seen them that look like drain pipes, but no idea what brand or make they are.

It's usually either plastic or metal conduit. It's sold in all sorts of sizes - you'll find it in the electrical section of home improvement stores.

More conduit sizes and options for low voltage flexible PVC conduit at your local electric supply store. Brand doesn't matter, use what they carry.

I ran Carlon Orange Resi-gard 1.5 inch to my workshop TV location, and ran several runs of 2" from basement to attic.

The enclosures typically have round knockouts on the sides to accept conduit fittings.

I actually bought the 1.5" flex conduit from ASIHome/Worthington. Local purchasing allows a little more flexibility for returns.
