Doorbell and Camera Wiring

Hello All -
 
I just wanted to get some feedback on what type of wire I should run to power my doorbell and outdoor cameras? I am down to the studs and getting ready to start running all of my ethernet and security wire for Omni Pro II and HIFI2. I just wanted to get some ideas for how to run the doorbell and front door security camera?

Are you installing some form of Smart Doorbell or Intercom system, or a standard doorbell? Does the doorbell have an integrated camera or is the camera separate?
 
If you have products (model numbers) already, list them here.

For the doorbell i was thinking about using Spore True Non-Illuminated Doorbell Button; Brushed Aluminum. I am not sure about what cameras I am going to use. Do you have any recomendations? I wanted the doorbell to just play a file over the HIFI2 system in the house once pressed. I read a forum post here about using the ELK960. I just need to know what type of wiring I should run to the doorbell and camera locations.

For camera location:
At least an 18/2 or more conductors, parallel; mid-cap; solid, non-twist would be a start. Category cabling would probably also be prudent.
 
For pushbutton, I'd pull only an 18/2 back to the central location. The remaining can be done via other means.
