Premise Importing Music Playlists?

So has anyone done any importing of playlists besides using John in VA's iTunes Playlist Importer?
 
Just wondering.  I really dislike iTunes, except for the genius lists.  So I would love to use some other music manager app to do my normal music management stuff.  And to create playlists.

Try Playlists in the download section.  It uses a very different approach than iTunes Playlist importer.
