Sending commands to HAI OmniPro II based on Geo-fencing

Hello,
Is there any way to do the following?
If I come within a certain proximity of the house with my phone, I want the lights to turn on or issue other commands.

My friend can do this with IFTTT and Philips Hue.

The new Space app for iPhone can do that as i think the older HAIKu app could. All the heavy lifting is occuring in the phone, and then when the conditions are met, the phones sets a flag in the Omni Pro II and the Omni turns on your light.  This is also possible to do using the many hubs out there that support IFTTT.  For example, if they and the Omni both can communicate via something like Z-wave or Zigbee, the hub can detect your proximity, and switch on a Zigbee or Z-Wave virtual device. The Omni can look for that then do something in response. With Space or HAIKu, its all built into the app, but iOS only.

I do this with Haiku on my iphone.  No way I can tell to change the size of the fence, though, which would be nice.  Otherwise it works like a charm.
