Help with programming with HAI house status 8 button

It's easy to program each individual dimmers, but I just can't figure out how to program the house status switch after I pressed buttons 1 & 8 into setup mode, what do iI do next?  How do I assign buttons 2-7 for each room? I have the dealer's PCAccess software.  I have three of them in the house, how do I setup each units with the controller?

The way that I have mine setup is that in PC access, Units, I have the house status switch in room 8 slot 8.  That automatically assigned the 1-8 buttons to the rooms 1-8 in the PC access setup. I only have 1 house status switch, so i am unsure on how to program the others you have  but that should get you started

Perhaps you needed to bring down the settings manually and assign a specific room to each switch when reassigning? I think it should have been stated in the manual.
