Honeywell alarm panel

Does anybody have any experience with the Honeywell line and the newly introduced Win-Pak security API?

I couldn't recommend Winpak for any user except the most basic and small sites out there. Their day in the sun (as Northern) and now Honeywell is over. If someone's looking for a small access system such as a Winpak or Kantech, this is the platform they have....but in the real world, it's woefully out of date and can't perform to the same level as the big hitters, Amag, SWH, Linel and to a lesser extent Cardkey.
 
I put it in the realm of being able to go to central distributorship and buying the hardware OTC and hoping it's a one size fits all solution which in the real realm of access control, doesn't work. Hell, even their contemporaries like Infinias (or whoever they call themselves now) are eating their lunch.
