Is home automation becoming obsolete?

For a low-monthly cost of (minimum wage) you can have a nice VR system, where "Turn my bedroom light off" equates to someone else getting up and turning the light off ;)

This eliminates buggy code, the need to replace existing hardware, and the need to understand any smart home technology protocols at all!

"Home Automation" is a very old technology - it's been around for thousands of years - but the original version fell out of favor - it was based around fairly low tech devices called "servants".

How much for the 18 year old, tested and true, model with the long dark hair?

I don't want some old guy watching me get out of bed in the middle of the night when I go pee.

"Can you hold this for me...and aim it properly too?"

This is the reason that I go married, so that my wife could cater to my every whim. The problem is that my wife got married for the same reason.

Mike.

A friend asked me the other day if i got any on the side lately. I told him that it's been so long that I didn't even know that they moved it.

Quit (abstinence) using the remote control for the LCD television a couple of weeks back.

Walking up to the LCD TV and looking for the control buttons created an entertaining activity for me. (well only watch movies anyways).

Watched a preview last night for a new movie.  Looks entertaining.
