New member...

Building a new home in New Braunfels, TX....going to be doing much of the LV wiring myself.  I will be wiring for speakers, surround, security, and networking.  I've got a centralized small room designed to hold my servers, racking, security and audio/video equipment.  Not sure how much of the A/V equipment I'm going to centralize, i know from reading here, there are pros and cons.
 
 
I am particularly interested in contacting another member who appears to live right near me...rockinArmadillo, but apparently you have to make a few posts before you can contact other members.
 
Have been interested in HA for several years, but still a novice.

How many posts do you have to make?

I think the language was "several"....not exactly sure.

What is your timeline for the build? How long do you have before you need to start pulling cable?

Breaking ground in a few weeks...so I would imagine I'll be pulling cable in about 8 weeks or so.
