Problem Saving Serial Number in Elk RP2 Account

Hi All,
 
Installing my second M1G. I have it connected and working, but I keep having to input the Serial Number every time I open the account in RP2. I have tried Save, Save As (checking the box for saving Ser#). Not sure what the trick is. It saves all the other information including phone number, notes,...  It just does not want to save the serial number.
 
 
Using RP2, version 2.0.24. On Windows 10.

Is it possible that you entered the serial number incorretly when creating the customer account?
 
Here is a quote from the ethernet expander 2.0.34 firmware release notes
 
2. Added additional measures to increase security and thwart hackers by limiting RP connection attempts. The M1XEP will now lockout further RP connection attempts for 1 minute if an incorrect RP Access Code or Panel Serial Number is attempted eight times in a row.

EDIT
I would try creating a new account and loading the info from the panel.
 
I know that this is a long shot but is the serial number maybe case sensitive? Some serial numbers do contain Hexadecimal letters.
