Incorrect day of week

M1 has the correct date and time, but the day of the week (Monday - Sunday) is incorrect in the logs.  How do I correct it?

Are you sure the year is set correctly?  I'm not yet completely out of the habit of entering 2015 instead of 2016.
 
I don't believe there is a way to set the day, as it is calculated from the month/day/year.

So how does one set the year?

The date showing in the panel display is the correct day, month, and year.  It is in the log table, date field, where the correct mm/dd/yy is shown, but the day of week is incorrect.
