Omni Touch 7 hissing

I just noticed my Omni Touch 7 is now hissing.  I tried restarting the OT7 via PC Access and completely powering off/on the unit but the unit still hisses. It has firmware version 1.14. 
 
I haven't done anything with the OT7 other than firmware updates.  So, can anyone offer any resolution to stop the hissing from this POS?

It was fixed in a software update... but I don't know which version gets rid of it.   A lot of us had to deal with it.  It's really nice when it finally goes away!

My OT7 is at firmware version 1.14.  I checked for newer versions but there are none.  So, I reloaded version 1.14 and still have the hissing problem.

I had to upgrade the kernel from 1.1 to 1.2 to eliminate the hissing. ahhh, peace and quiet once more.

I just noticed that I now get a hissing sound whenever I hit the Macro icon and select a button to run a macro.  The hissing starts when I select Macros and the hissing stops when I return to the home page.  IOW, leaving the home page starts the hissing sound and returning to the home page stops the hissing sound.
