System Sensor COSMOD4W compatibility with Leviton model 17A00 Expansion Enclosure

Does anyone know if these products are campatible? The COSMOD4W requires a 3.9 k resistor in the loop. Does this make it incompatible w the expansion enclosure? Hopefully I didn't just answer my own question.

The 3.9K resistor goes in the smoke loop, and is visible to the COSMOD4W, but not the zone input on the alarm panel.
 
There are other terminals on the COSMOD4W where you connect the panel EOL resistors for the CO and smoke zones.
