Haiku Push Notifications stopped - Alert certificate unknown

My push notifications stopped working and I started getting the following error on the HaikuHelper
Intermediate Server Error: For "notify" command: SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read finished A: sslv3 alert certificate unknown.

Any reason for the ssl cert being rejected?

Happend to me to. I am kind of assuming this is an end of life issue for the product. Would be nice if the developer is still around to give an answer as to if the replacement app is still in development or if this is simply it. In the meantime I got a work around up -- using Growl and Pushover. Can walk through the process if this turns out to be a permanent issue.

Same problem here. Thanks for the Growl/Pushover suggestion. Works well and hopefully will continue to do so.

I am not at my Mac right now, but I think all I did was download Growl for the Mac ($3.99) and then created a Pushover account (Pushover.net) and downloaded it to my iPhone. I installed the Growl plug-in from the Pushover.net website. There is a code that you are given that you need to enter. Check the box for Growl in HaikuHelper. I'm still on a trial for Pushover, but I think it is $4.99.

I used growl and prowl. But when this started I had concerns that this was related to an old SSL v3 POODLE exploit.

Have not experienced disruptions here with Push notifications from HH. Still getting alerts when GD left open, when guests check out, etc.
