AARTech Deals?

Hey, does anyone know if AARTech still has coupon codes available?
I want to place an order for 7 or 800 bucks and all of the coupon codes that I've found online are invalid. I'd hate to wait it out, but I'm thinking there may be a sale just around the corner and I'm on a pretty tight budget at the moment.
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a shot.
I normally don't stoop to begging for discounts, but I guess if no one else has any leads I'll have to go that route. ;)

Their coupons are typically at the top of their website. There was one for more than about $400 last weekend.

They did price matching for me back some time.

For those shopping in Canada, our Black Friday sale is on right now..

Up to 40% off select items!

Free Shipping over $99
5% off over $399

By the time you get burnt by Smarthome for the shipping charges to Canada, aartech.ca is still cheaper, even with the BF sales at SH and no sales at aartech.ca, and your warranty will actually be honoured too.

I have no affiliation with aartech.ca. Just an experienced customer with both.

Smarthome once somehow managed to send my order to Brazil instead of Canada. How you mess something like that up is beyond me. It was a fairly large order and I had someone waiting on me to do an install, so I got pretty angry about it. When I told them that I want a refund so I can look for other options to make my purchase, they tried to tell me that I would have to wait until the goods found their way back to their warehouse. Needless to say I wasn't having that. Last time I ever made a purchase from them (or tried to, anyway).
I would say in comparison AARTech is 100X better or more.

It seems as if SmartHome is just a renamed X10.com and starting to go the same way.
They are starting the website pop-up garbage, and sale nonsense, and their attitude is down the toilet.

Too bad as Insteon has the best HA communications I have seen or heard of from hundreds of users, with their dual band, dual mesh, simultaneous transmission technique.

I dunno...  I have found that Zwave has been extremely reliable, aside from the problems I've been having with my Vera communicating with Mi Casa Verde's server(s).
Could be because I have so few devices? I've heard mixed reviews of pretty much all of the more affordable technologies.

Short reach and requires many repeating devices. Powerline signals are usually good for 4-500 feet.

Well, fortunately (unfortunately??), I'm staying in a small apartment rather than a mansion at the moment ;). Zwave is quite practical in this setting.

People report the Aotec (sp?) siren as the best Zwave  repeater that repeats all the special handshake and weird signals from other brans and has the stronger signal..

Has anyone heard of anything new?  I see that there is a promotion for $20 off orders over $500, but I think I just missed the boat on a better sale a couple of months ago.
It seems that every time I have a little extra money to put into my automation gear, my timing is off!
