Power fail in event log? Is event log configurable?

I would like to the the AC fail & restore events recorded in the event log (downloadable by ElkRP2).
 
I can't see any place to configure this, nor does it seem to be possible via a rule.
 
Any ideas?

yes, I've done that too, but would also like it in the log

Log isn't configurable, but I'm 99% sure AC loss will show up after the reporting delay.
 
Restore won't appear.

I had 2 outages yesterday of 60 and 45 minutes, and there was nothing in the log apart from "telephone line trouble" at the time of power restoration.  Where is the AC Fail reporting delay set ? (I can't find it)

I guess I just don't see the value of having it in the log if I'm already notified via text that it's occurred. What do you gain?

The AC Fail delay is set via the keypad in Menu 12, System Report Code Options.  Or in RP in the Communicator, System RCs menu. 
 
If the report code is 00 (the default), it is not reported.
 
Note that this delay also affects how quickly a failure will be reported to your central station.
