Best monitoring service

alarm relay works well for me.  It's reasonably cheap, very responsive, and quite helpful if you have questions.  What kind of panel are you using?  I have an elk m1

Do you know if Alarm-Relay works with V4 firmware? I've been dragging my feet on migrating from Caddx wireless to the new stuff. Will be expensive...
TIA

Ah, well, on the M1G itself, sure, I don't see why they wouldn't support a V4 version of firmware on the M1 panel; just logging into my Elk account, I see they still have 4.6.8 posted (although it is listed as a Legacy version); current being 5.3.10 (released 7/11/2016).

I've seen nothing to indicate that V4 wouldn't work there. I've been on multiple calls with Alarm Relay technicians during the setup process and have never been asked to confirm firmware version(s) to date. They simply step through the setup/configuration process, and then ask you if you'd like to test the reporting by arming your system, violating a zone and having the alarm report to them.

How are you looking to have monitoring setup? Internet, cellular, POTS?

Sorry - Elk M1. A/R does not know, they say to use the latest to keep it easy.
Firmware does not make a difference for a monitoring route, no matter the panel, unless you are performing a direct to hosted service item, such as to a hosted access system directly via an SDK.

This is good info to know - as always, thanks for chiming in on this DEL.  I would have guessed that the version didnt make a difference at all, but I'd hate to say that and have somebody spend money on a guess, then get burned :/
