Burglar Follower

I need some advice.  I have installed a PIR in the garage that will trigger before I get to the Entry to access the keypad.  I also will trigger another PIR once I enter.  I know I can set the 2nd PIR to be a follower, but how do I handle the one in the garage?  This needs to function in both the stay and away mode as I plan to use stay if our dogs remain inside.  Thanks!

Personally I have my garage configured as a different area (3 floors and 1 garage). I do not use cross zone pool, I use programs to sympathetically arm/disarm the garage area based on area 1.

It's difficult to use a motion sensor in a garage without getting false positives. Door opening will trigger, moth flying in FOV, etc.

I was also concerned about that.  Maybe the best option is to put door sensors on the garage doors and program them as entry/exit and the door into the house and interior PIR as follower.
