Which hardware revision and firmware revision, please let us know.
If disconnecting DS18B20 made it work, did you try to replace that temp sensor with another one to see if the problem persist?

Was that hardware rev 2.0.2 board? That board does not have any firmware update. There is no relationship between temp sensor and TCP. All board in 2.2.2 and new 2.3.x boards are having new firmware updates. We do not have any firmware update for 2.0.2 board, due to its ROM size too small.
2.0.2 hw rev temp sensors require to have modification on temp sensor to provide 5V supply, which is no longer required on hw rev 2.2.2 and 2.3.x boards.

Maybe you could consider to purchase a new board to try, if that possible.

Rev 2.2.2 can be updated to latest firmware, it should be a lot better than 2.0.2 board.

Do you have chance trying your rev 2.2.2 WC8 or WC32 boards? Both of them can update firmware to the latest one. Please update their firmware by clicking on help on its GUI, you will find that linked to our web site with download link. The new WC8 2.3.8 rev board has a lot improvements over rev 2.2.2, but we still support rev 2.2.2 board.

I've tried to connect my Rev 2.2.2. Firmware is v03.02.15 so I think impossible to upgrade locally... :-(
My WC32 is HW REv5. I think it is a beta board... there are small red wire added manually.
SW v04.02.00. I succeed to upgrade to 4.02.19.
I had for both to do a factory reset. I'm continuing my testing with these old boards.
