Anybody interested in getting Amazon Echo (Alexa) control of Premise?  I've got it working and doing the following:

Playing media (my biggest reason to do it)

Alexa, Ask Premise to play playlist hanging out mix in the living room

Alexa, Ask Premise to play something by Michael Jackson in the kitchen

Alexa, Ask Premise to play album thriller in the basement

Alexa, Ask Premise to stop the living room

Alexa, Ask Premise to skip the family room

Lighting control

Alexa, Ask Premise to turn on the living room

Alexa, Ask Premise to turn off the family room

Garage door monitoring

Alexa, Ask Premise the status of my garage

Alexa, Ask Premise if my garage doors are open

Environmental

Alexa, Ask Premise what is the temperature on the first floor

Alexa, Ask Premise what is the humidity in the basement

I'm adding more as I come across use cases.

Fair warning, this isn't a simple implementation.  Alexa needs to do a web services call to an internet-based web server to make it work.  So, you'll need to provide a web server listening on port 443 in your environment.  The web server needs to run IIS (the app that does the linking to Premise is an ASP.NET app).  You'll also need an Amazon developer account and know a little bit about certificates and setting up SSL.

If you're interested, post a reply and I'll get the bits uploaded.
