Anyone using OpenRemote with their OmniPro panel?

Not sure what led me to OpenRemote this morning.

It appears to run on an RPi and there is an OmniPro plugin for it.

Looking at the HAI OmniPro plugin cannot figure out whether it was ever finished.

Leviton HAI

HAI, acquired by Leviton, is a Home Automation system, integrated with OpenRemote. If you have an existing system of HAI, you can now automatically integrate all devices and commands into the OpenRemote Designer, and integrate it with any other device, or build your own unique user interface.

NOTE: This plugin is still under development. The import process works, but you will need to refresh your browser after completing an import in the designer as the GUI does not respond yet in a appropriate manner.

The OpenRemote OmniLink implementation uses a secure TCP connection to control almost every aspect of a HAI Omni or Lumina system. It supports lighting, security, temperature, audio, macros and more. The OpenRemote building modeler also supports device auto discovery and will connect remotely to a system and build a complete list of devices, which is important as many installations will have a large number of complex endpoints.

Appears to run in the cloud.  Designer works with browser, iOS or Android stuff.

Any comments?

Going to give it a try.
I'm looking for a way to integrate my RPi WeMo emulation - voice control via Alexa with my Omni Panel.

Not sure what may be running in the cloud now, but only the designer was web-based. The server is a local install.
I've been using OpenRemote for quite a few years now as an A/V remote control interface on my surplus of tablets. I liked that it communicates with EventGhost via simple UDP broadcasts. EventGhost does all the heavy lifting and OR just sends the command string to act on. I never got too deep in it cause, well simply... I hate "cloud-based" software for something like this. And sure enough when they rolled out an updated system and I lost most of my work, I decided I would create my own server to host the design software. I still don't have it doing much, but using EG I can send commands to my Elk and Vera. Haven't tried to get 2-way going though either. Never really needed confirmation that the lights around me that I just turned off before watching a movie are actually off  :)
