*** Anybody using Uplink LTE30EX or Other LTE Alarm Communicator?

Wondering if any one is using a Uplink LTE30EX LTE Communicator with ELK M1G? My Uplink 4500EZ is dead after Uplink did a system wide update. It no longer functions. I need to replace it and wondering if LTE30EX is the right choice. I believe the 4G will be sunset in 2021.

It should connect the same way as the 4500EZ using serial connection...

Any feedback is much appreciated
Thanks

I just converted both of my locations to the ipDataTel CDMA-BAT LTE communicators, which use the Verizon wireless network. I have Elk M1G's at both locations monitored by Alarm Relay. I replaced an Uplink 4550 and an Uplink CDMA communicator, both of which went dead after the Uplink software upgrade. The replacement of the communicators took only minutes to complete.

They offer both CDMA and GSM units. The units I installed are dialer capture, replace the phone line connection with dual communication, internet and cellular. Works great, full contact ID reporting to the monitoring service.
