I am switching from my smarthing back to my leviton usb controller.
I am having issues joining the VRC0P and a Leviton zwave plus lightswitch. I excluded them from the previous network and I even did a hard reset, but when attempting join using the installer tool I get an error that unable to communicate try moving the USB closer. However I am ebven touching hte unit and it doesnt help.

Thank you

What model is it? Unfortunately, the VRCOP isn’t really ZWave plus, so you need to carefully pick from Leviton’s devices to get compatibility. I’ve even seen on places like Amazon where the descriptions are a little mixed up. You can take your model number and look at the Leviton website, they say which devices are supported by the VRCOP.

Is this the only model/switch that is having trouble enrolling using VR-USB software?
All the latest Leviton Vizia+ devices packaged in green boxes are ZWave+. I have a few, and they work fine with VR-USB/VRC0P.
You might try and see if you can enroll again with smart-things and un-enroll.
What version of Windows are you using for VR-USB? Leviton release 1.1.5.2 in 2017.

I didn't have any trouble pairing the DZ6HD using VRUSB/VRC0P;  I used the traditional inclusion method in the DZ6HD instructions.  Reverse associations with the VRC0P are working (I get status on my OPII) and beaming is working for my Yale locks.

Interesting, that is good news... maybe the descriptions are wrong or they've updated the firmware.
