Omni notifier or Samsung SmartThings Hub

Greeting members! This looked like a great place to get an answer for my question. I apologize if this is the wrong area to post. But Im looking at my HAI OmniPro and want to make it text me. Have found this site by searching and found out its $150. Question is should I replace it with a Samsung SmartThings Hub, thats a lot easier for me, or just have a professional add the board and set up, Id like to know how to change and add stuff, but I think Im out league sitting up the OmniPro.

I use the notifier with all my clients. It's easy and also does e-mails. Since you have the OmniPro, I would suggest that, because it's easy to setup and get going.

ComponY. Do your clients HAINoftifiers work with texts? I have Verizon and cannot seem to get any text to come through? Thanks.
