HAI 45A001-1

Hi does anyone have a photo of one of these mounted?...I can't find a way to hide the wire as it enters the bottom. 
 
Also I was wanting to install it in a central location the panel is mounted in the attic way where the temp is controlled. The attic temp here in Ohio go's from 130 to 20 F  soo I dont want to mount it up there. Is there a reason it cant be mounted near the panel or right above it?

Mount it a few feet from the panel, right or left, and as HIGH as it will go. Think of where the sensors will be, and you don't want the panel blocking the path from sensor to receiver.
