Error when importing Elk account info

I get the following error message when importing an exported account:
 
"
Exported account file: D:\filename.exp is an 5.3.10 not an M1G. 
Please create or open an 5.3.10 account to import this file into.
"
 
Any help would be appreciated, Mike.
 
 
I haven't had any experiences with an Elk in five years, but i do remember this error.
 
Brushing off cobwebs, don't you have to assign a serial number correctly before importing?

I did use the correct serial number. I learned from Elk that it is because I exported from ElkRP2 V 2.0.36 and I am importing to newer V2.0.38. They told me to make sure that they are both the same version but that is impossible unless I put the older version on my new PC which I'd rater not do. I'm still looking for another way.
