LOL. I'm guessing this particular wiring method is nowhere to be found in the NEC.

Actually, the link in the original post doesn't work for me with EITHER IE6 or IE7...but the direct link does...

If you use a split core CRMagnet then it's a "cleaner" electrical connection.

What if I wanted to monitor a 220v water heater? Can i use the same CR?
