Premise Licensed SYS Crash

I have a licensed version of SYS. My hard drive died. Rebuilt the system, (XP Pro) and have loaded the new 2.1 build15117. Loaded this "No license required version" since I can't register my licensed copy anymore. Most everything is working, but I can't establish a connection from one of my other LAN pc's running 2.1 for remote modifications, and adjustments. I did select activate in the "server" and it returns an activation key of "all zeros".
What am I missing? It has been a while since I have had to touch this system, Quite frankly, it has been running for about 3 years now without any real issues.

Sure hope there is someone who can offer me some guidance.

Thanks

======================
I noticed that after I upgraded to 2.1 the "autodiscovery" of Premise servers on the local network stopped working. After a few minutes with a network sniffer, I traced my issue to a DLINK router provided by Verizon (after they installed FIOS). It sends a "Network unreachable" response after the Builder sends a broadcast looking for Premise Servers on the local network.

I now have to manually enter the address on the Internet tab to get access to my servers.

I assume that you mean access via the builder to make remote modifications. I’ve noticed that for some reason, this new version doesn’t automatically discover the server on the local lan. When logging in with the builder, select the "Internet" tab and add-site.

Add your IP address of the server and username/password. This will get you in.

Your help is appreciated. That worked, Now I can move on to complete the restore.
I am glad to hear from the both of you.

Best Regards,
