Premise Customization Questions

So now that I have Internet Radio working quite well (thanks John!), I am looking to customize the interface a bit.

Not being a programmer AT ALL, I am wondering what I can do to get closer to what I want. The only issues I have are:

I want to run SageTV client on some of my control points. So I need to have a way to call SageTV from the Premise Browser page (?) and get back. I don't need to control Sage from there.

And I haven't seen a way to create on the fly playlists, ala the Premise Jukebox sample, in the standard browser. Is there something I'm missing?

From there I think I can create scenes for most of what I want to do.

Any guidance would be appreciated. And feel free to point me to any direction/instructions you know of.

I would love something visually as cool as MainLobby or Xlobby can do, but I haven't the foggiest clue where to start. So I'd settle for functional first ;)

Sam,

I'm not familiar with SageTV. Is it a web-based app? If so, try downloading the Webframes module from the old forum. It allows a regular web page to appear within the Premise Automation Browser.

One more suggestion regarding playlists. I believe when you browse a media item, you have an option to add that item to a playlist in the lower-left panel. It's not very elegant, but it works!!!

I usually go into my media from the room links. Now I understand why
I haven't seen that :)

You are right. It is certainly not elegant. Can that set of buttons be made to appear on the standard room/media screens?

As for SageTV, it is a PVR app. All that I really want to do is to bring the app forward on the client (touchscreen) I'll be using. Then when I'm done watching a TV show, put the app back to sleep, which should bring the Premise browser page forward again.

My wife wants to be able to bring up Good Eats while in the kitchen :)
