So started the M1 installation into the 28 inch can, along with the XEP, TWA, CBUS, surge and battery. Unfortunately the cabling has to be looped in the panel along the bottom and sides as there is no space in the wall cavity to have cable loops for any future changes/maintenance, which means its probably never going to look very neat. Bit of a jig saw puzzle putting it together. I think the M1 moved about 3 times, not to mention taken out again when I realised I needed to drill into the side of the panel for the velcro strips to hold cables! Need a shorter serial cable for the CBUS interface as its ridiculously long!
