This plugin for EventGhost allows your EventGhost instance to subscribe to your MQTT broker, and trigger events based on MQTT messages. It relies on the Eclipse Paho MQTT Python Client library and supports version 3.1/3.1.1 of the MQTT protocol.

This plugin is successfully used with EventGhost 0.5.0-rc6.

UI can be a little clumsy, but once you get it up and running, it's pretty stable. Using MQTT, you can now connect your Home Assistant setup to any other Windows machines. Trigger an Home Assistant event when you lock your screen, or 'outsource' your Text-to-Speech processing to a Windows machine running local SAPI5 voices.
